Here are me and Edra Soto’s SAIC Early College Program students. We cleaned up our mural site today and are getting ready to embark on a collaborative freestyle adventure. One of these kids is always doing his own thing. This should be very entertaining.

Over-booked. Working for the weekend. Working late nights. Working all summer. Friends - I miss you. Let’s hang out this fall.

Lauren painted this beautiful portrait of our friend. I love how she incorporated the trippy wood grain.

Thrashback Thursday: Back to 1986, when my friends and I rode our boards until there was barely even a nose or tail on it (we were broke). I don’t even know who any of these other kids are (I’m the shortest one) and I vaguely remember this photo being taken by a random lady at Oak Street Beach. I’m surprised that she actually followed through with sending me a copy in the post. I guess I didn’t know that you shouldn’t give your address to random people taking your photo on the street. Maybe I was hoping she was some kind of pervert. (at Oak Street Beach)
