“More Or Less” was created by Anthony Lewellen, Brian Steckel, Chris Silva, David Cuesta, & John Heenan, who are all members the Chicago based artist collective, “83ism”. More Or Less is an art installation created largely of upcycled materials, integrating very precisely programmed video projections, which are all synced to an original soundtrack. What you will see here is all actual footage of the installation in action with no post-production video effects superimposed on it. It is documentation of a 3 dimensional sculpture embellished by light and sound. The piece was exhibited from February 24th through April 14th, 2012. A second version of More Or Less was later exhibited at the Urban Institute For Contemporary Art, in conjunction with the 2012 ArtPrize event. There, Lisa Freiman, curator for the Indianapolis Museum of Art, as well as the 2011 Venice Bienalle, selected it as the winner of the 3D category. For now, some footage of that version may be seen here: vimeo.com/50944322
